What's next for the United States?

With 2 more years left in the Obama administration, and a house divided, what's next for the United States of America? While the Dems still control the White House and the Senate, the GOP/Tea Party control congress. The GOP has promised to do away with the sweeping health care reform plan that was brought in by Obama. What can the leadership of the GOP be thinking, are they nuts!. For the first time in American history they will in time have a health care system that does not leave anybody behind. The current system in place favours the rich, and the HMO's. Nobody should be denied health coverage regardless of income, or the colour of their skin.

The American people are truly a strange bunch when it comes to the way they vote. It took Bush 8 years to do what he did to the American Ecomony, and even on the night that Obama was elected he gave a speech where he said that the financial mess that the United States was in WILL NOT be fixed in 1 year, it won't be fixed in 2 years, and it might not be fixed by the end of his first mandate in 4 years. He did promise that he will repair the damage done, and put America back on it's feet. Now only after 2 years the American voters had over the house to the GOP. These are the same guys that backed Bush, and put America into a near depression.

For the past 5 quarters the American Ecomony has experienced growth, and will continue to do so. America is far from being out of the woods, as they need to create jobs, which I fear they will have a hard time doing. When Bill Clinton took office he was also faced with a recession, and he was able to move America forward, but it was not until his second term as President.

So I say to all my American friends, don't give up on Obama just yet, and now that the GOP has the house, let's see if they stop complaining, and work with Obama to move the United States forwards.
