Federal Election Anyone?

As we close of 2010 and head into 2011 we can for sure look forward to a Provincial Election in the Province of Ontario. On the Federal side the budget is set to come down in late February which will mean that we will for sure be heading to the polls come March or April across Canada.

The Liberals, NDP, and the Bloc have all said that they are willing to defeat the Conservatives on their spring budget. Finally the Liberal leader is showing some balls and is willing to bring down the government.

So what do the political guru's think the outcome would be if a spring election is held, well this guru thinks that we will have another minority government headed by the Liberals with the backing of the NDP and the Blocheads in Quebec. This is unless the Conservatives are willing to make a deal with the NDP. Yes I said the Conservatives and NDP in bed together to prevent the Liberals from leading the country.

I think it's a win, win for Jack Layton the head of the NDP. People want change, but they are not willing to give any of the political parties a majority after the next federal election. If the Liberals win, with the backing of the NDP and Bloc then Iggy survives as party leader and our next Prime Minister, if he fails he's toast. If Harper wins another minority government he's toast as well because that would be his third as Conservative party leader. Jack Layton might be toast as well if he does not increase his seat count, and after losing what was considered a safe seat in the last by-election who knows what the future holds for him.
As for Elizabeth May the Leader of the Green Party, if she does not win her seat she also will be toast.

2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year for politics in Canada.

Until next time!
